Single Application License:

A single application license permits you to use the product on a single domain (sub-domains count as separate domains which require separate licenses) and a development or staging site. You must not incorporate the item in a work which is created for redistribution or resale by you or your client. The item may not be redistributed or resold. If the item contains licensed components, those components must only be used within the item and you must not extract and use them on a stand-alone basis. If the item was created using materials which are the subject of a GNU General Public License (GPL), your use of the item is subject to the terms of the GPL in place of the foregoing conditions (to the extent the GPL applies). Without prior agreement, the price of the product does not include additional support or consultancy.

Multiple Applications License:

A Multiple Applications license permits you to use the product on multiple domains/sub-domains.

Theme License FAQ

No, our theme licences are NOT subscription-based. They’re perpetual to the specific Moodle theme version.

For example, if you bought a theme license for Moodle 4.3, your license is valid for Moodle version 4.3 forever. You can use the theme on a Moodle 4.3 site as long as you like. You will also get free theme updates (incl. bug fixes and improvements) and support for Moodle 4.3.

If you’d like to upgrade your Moodle site from version 4.3 to a higher version in the future (eg. Moodle 4.4/4.5) you will have the option to upgrade your current theme license. A small license upgrade fee will apply so you don’t need to pay for the full license price for a higher version again.

Upgrading is completely optional and you can choose when to upgrade. Our flexible pricing model allows your organisation to “Pay As You Need“. Most of our customers upgrade their Moodle sites and themes every 1-3 years.

Yes, of course. We’ve written useful tutorials to help you customise the themes to meet your own needs. You can go to a theme’s details page to see all of the relevant tutorials for that theme.

Yes, you can. However, you need to respect the license terms. If your client intends to use the theme on multiple domains/subdomains you need to buy the Multiple Application License for them.
No, you can’t sell our themes as your own products or bundle them in your own products to sell to your clients. However, you can buy the theme licenses on behalf of your clients and charge them for any design/development services you do for them.
